TUTORING

Our private tutoring membership is completely customized to fit students’ and families’ needs, and uses evidenced-based interventions to promote academic growth. We take an interdisciplinary approach to tutoring. Research indicates that instruction that is content-rich — that is, integrating science, math, and social studies with oral language instruction — helps to develop vocabulary and reading comprehension outcomes. We believe that high-dosage tutoring and mentorship are pillars of a successful tutoring program.

Initial consultations are $75.00, and include a Diagnostic Exam and Learning Style Assessment to pinpoint exactly where your student is and identify areas for development. After the consultation, a customized tutoring plan is created for you and your family. Generally, students meet with their tutor 4 times per month, 8 times per month, or 12 times per month, depending on their academic needs.

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS

• Private [in-person] tutoring starts at $275/month.

• Private [virtual] tutoring starts at $220/month

• Standardized test prep (SAT, ACT, etc.) for middle and high school students is $75/hr.
